LeadHer Local Director
Hi! I am Kim Bausinger. I have been a part of LeadHer since about the end of year one. I started coming to the Springfield Local chapter as a way to meet up with my youngest daughter when she was in college. What I found was way more than a planned midweek meeting with my daughter. I found a community of women who loved each other, loved God more, and spoke into me that there was a ton of untapped potential just waiting to be used for God. After a lifetime of kitchen and nursery duty, I was challenged to make leadership a part of my everyday life in the places I always went. While I still find great love in the kitchen and nursery (let me feed you and love your babies, and I am a happy girl), I have found a voice I never knew I had. God has given me the ability to see His hand, and lessons to be shared in the small and everyday things around us. He has given me opportunities to teach and write, and I absolutely love encouraging women to tap into what God has given them that they have never seen in themselves! I am so excited to be a part of the LeadHer staff as well as the teaching team.
My family is one of my greatest treasures here on earth! I have been married for 25 years to my wonderful, encouraging husband Robert. We love to spend time camping, watching sci-fi movies, and hanging out with my extended family. We live in Carthage, MO and have 2 grown daughters that make us proud every single day. Marisa, our oldest, is married to Logan, and the mama to our newest grandson, Alden. She is a part time children’s minister and a previous retail store manager. Rachel, our youngest, is our artistic, musical, airplane flying, random girl. She and her husband Dan are starting their life together in Arizona! Our family is rounded out by two more grandchildren, Mathew who is 12, and lives in Arkansas, and Kendra who is 8 and lives in Montana.
